Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is one of the best smartphone I have ever used. The performance and battery life of this phone made it better than its previous Galaxy S series phones.
Last year, one of my friend bought a Samsung Galaxy S8+. When I compared S7 edge with S8+, It seemed S7 edge was better than S8+. The camera of S8+ may be better than S7 edge but S7 edge is outperformed S8+ based on performance.
Now it seems Samsung is trying to kill this model as it has already released S8, S8+, Note 8, S9 and S9+. Official website of Samsung Australia is no longer selling this model. Few retailers are selling this model while others have already stopped selling this model. For example, S7 edge is not available on Harvey Norman official website though they are still selling S7 model. On the other hand, JB Hi Fi has recently released a ‘Red Hot’ deal for S7 edge. Other big retailers, like Binglee, Good Guys, Office Work etc have already taken off S7 edge from there own websites. It indicates that the era of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will end very soon.
Moreover, Samsung delayed to release Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. This is another sign that this model does not have to much importance for Samsung.
